• Whenever he gets two consecutive days off from work, he likes to go surfing.
• Shun Oguri, who played Noboru Yoshikawa, also played as Uchiyama Haruhiko in Gokusen. In GTO he is the one being bullied, but in Gokusen he is one of the bullies in class.
• The listeners of All Night Nippon decide on a nickname for Shun which was Shunkerbell. When Matsumoto Jun guest on the show he thought it has something to do with Tinkerbell.
• Aside from doramas & movies, he is also doing some stage plays.
• He lent his voice in some anime productions such as Animal Crossing (http://www.doubutsunomori-movie.jp/) (2006), Jyu Oh Sei (http://jyu-oh-sei.com/) (Fuji TV, 2006) & Fullm-e-t-a-l Alchemist the Movie: "Conqueror of Shambala" (http://www.fullm-e-t-a-lalchemist.com/movie/index.htm) (2005)
• Toma is a huge fan of Backstreet Boys. Once he ever begged Japanese Music Station’s staff to let him in to the studio and watch Backstreet Boys doing a rehearsal.
• He loves to collect many types of sunglasses and sneakers. Currently, he has about fifteen pairs of sneakers, and a cabinet full of his sunglasses collections. He also collects soccer uniforms and various toy figures like Gundam, Spiderman and Star Wars.
• He likes to wear jeans a lot. He feels that jeans are a sporting fashion. He wears jeans when the weather is hot and even when it is winter. That is why many times, the question "Aren't you cold?" is always directed to him.
• His ideal dream date is to drive at night to a hill top with his girlfriend, and watch a city view from there. He did that once with Yamapi, but it felt awkward because all of the people who were there were couples, so they pointed an infrared laser pointer to some couples and disturbed their dates.
• He used to call his mother “Okaa-chan” when he was a little. But after being teased by M.A.I.N’s member, now he calls her “Okaa-san”.
• Toma is also a fan of X Japan, especially popular guitarist Hideto Matsumoto. He once talked an hour in the phone with Shibutani Subaru (Kanjani8) just discussing about X-Japan. He and his younger brother Ryousei are fans of GLAY and always came to every concert during his spare time.
• He is a big fan of rock music. He often listens to M-e-t-a-llica and Guns N Roses and sometimes, buys a DVD of it and watches them at home after work.
• Toma is right handed.
• He loves to read manga, including "One Piece".
• He sometimes spends his time with his senpais especially Satou Atsuhiro, former Hikari Genji, which he calls him "Atsu-ani" means, brother Atsu. He rants alot that Atsu-ani would just ignore him.
• He looks up to Miyake Ken of V6. He was also the senpai he had a first encounter with since he (Ken) was blocking the gym's door. Toma even made an imitation of such in one of his Recommends.
• On her days off, she generally spends it outdoors. Shopping with friends or going to the karaoke for example.
• She treasures her family and enjoys spending time with them.
• In middle school, she had a boyfriend of three years. “They’d split up time and time again, but they usually worked out their differences and it continued like this for three years," according to acquaintances.
• She’s bad at things like variety show talks, and one could see that she’s often at a loss for a response.
• She has poor eyesight, and because she uses contact lens she has said that her eyes get dry from things like photographic sessions.
• She’s highly capable of reading the questioner’s mind, making her see through the answers in multiple-choice tests. She has mentioned that she can score 40 points on multiple-choice questions alone. (A good proportion of the correct answers in the national language test are “u”, according to her).
• She’s under the same agency as Kuroki Meisa and is good friends with her. A year and a half since graduating from middle school, they were on living terms at the agency’s dormitories. (from SPA!) She is highly appreciative of Meisa’s leading stage roles in “Atami Satsujin Jiken (Atami Murder Case)” and “Azumi".
• Remioromen’s Maeda Keisuke, in “SCHOOL OF LOCK!” uttered in a talk that “she is the kind of daughter I would like to have”.
• Because of the shadow patterns that fall on her face and the ambience that results, she has made countless appearances as the lead of horror films. • She’s weak at drawing pictures and was told by Yamashita Tomohisa that she has “no artistic drawing talent”. She also drew a picture in “SCHOOL OF LOCK!”
• She was brought together with Yamashita Tomohisa and Kamenashi Kazuya at one time through Nobuta wo Produce, and enjoys watching SUMMARY (Johnny’s Agency Entertainment Show). She has on occasions gone to see EXILE, Hirai Ken and D-51 lives.
• At the karaoke, she enjoys singing songs from SPEED, YUKI and such. When she went occasionally to karaoke with Yamashita Tomohisa and Kamenashi Kazuya, she was taught the dance choreography to Seishun Amigo.
