Instead, she wishes to become a teacher like her deceased father was.
She gets a job teaching a very dangerous class at an all-boys high school. She puts her yakuza upbringing to use in helping her students inside and outside the school - and of course - eventually changing them for the better. However, she has to keep the truth about her family a secret or she will probably lose her job. In the end, her family secret is discovered, but she manages to keep her job anyway.
Newly graduated Kumiko Yamaguchi wants to make her mark on the Japanese educational system as a teacher. All well and good until she finds out that the school she'll be teaching at has its fair share of troublemakers and rabble-rousers.
The ruffians at the school don't frighten her though for she has a secret of her own-she's a fourth generation crime syndicate member and next in line to head it up. She's gone straight and wants to be a teacher though, but she's one person in whose class you don't want to be caught fooling around!
GOKUSEN 2
Who can forget the high school teacher, Kumiko Yamaguchi, a dull looking high school teacher who comes from a yakuza family and resolves problem with dutiful, soul, justice and love?

Yankumi is now teaching a kindergarten class, and it's obvious that she isn't right for the job. She loses her job for teaching improper games and language to the kids, but at the same time she is offered a job at another high school. Coincidentally, the vice principal from the first series (Ikuse) now works at the same school. He had meant to hire a big scary guy to handle a problem class, but a mix-up sent the job offer to Yankumi instead. The vice principal is afraid that if people discover the mix-up they will blame him and ruin his chances of becoming principal, so he agrees to let Yankumi stay under the condition that she doesn't reveal the truth about her family.
Her new class is exactly like her old one, and has a lot of characters who look suspiciously similar to characters from her old class. It's obvious that she's going to face all the same problems she did in the first series. In the first episode, she deals with a truant student who is the son of a rich family and is working at a shady night club. It's just so much like the first series already!
